Missing Children is a big topic in world-wide social media today. Sadly some people even find it amusing if a child goes missing. Take a runaway for example, people might laugh and say another person, Oh well. But I'm here to tell you that if a child goes missing, whether their a runaway, or they were kidnapped its a tragedy.
A missing child's case could be put in many different categories. The categories of missing children are: runaways, endangered runaways, family abductions, non-family abductions, endangered missing, and last but definitely no the least deceased (murdered).
A runaway is someone who just ran away from home. While an endangered runaway is someone who ran away with a dangerous person, or is someone who runs away to somewhere dangerous.
In Kristen Hicks case it was the second description. Kristen ran away from her adoptive family in Coppell Texas on march 15,2013, to her birth mothers house in Del Valle Texas. Her birth mothers, Genevieve Ostrander is an ex-convict from Texas, which leads Kristen to danger.
Kristen Hicks' case is one of the many missing children cases that are happening in the world right now. Statistics say that there is at least 2,300 people that go missing per day in the world. People need to know that when a child goes missing it's not funny, it's not amusing, and its definitely not a good thing. When a person goes missing, it's a tragedy.
